Studio Equipment!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas.

Chelsea Dale Photography now has backdrops!!
Lighting coming soon!!!

Pretty soon I will be setting up a new price sheet once I have the studio room cleaned out and ready for action! I will offer in studio and on location photography sessions.
For those of you that do not know the studio (for now) will be located in the Thomas Township/Hemlock area. Which happens to be where I do a lot of my on location shooting if you do not have a particular location you like. If you go and look at Amanda's Senior Pictures you will see some of the fields we went to.

In addition to the new backdrops to get the studio rolling Santa brought me a lens perfect for portraits!

I also received 4 new pair of boots! (yes that's right I said 4) One pair for every location and weather condition my mom said! Perfect for shooting outdoors!

I am very excited to enter this part of the photography world. I know there is a lot of competition out there, but I am hoping that with this equipment I will have the capabilities to do things most of the students in my classes will not be able to do. I would also like to start making a name for myself and I think this Christmas Santa wanted me to have that opportunity.

Hopefully the lighting will be here soon and well I have A LOT of cleaning to do!
Check back for "New Studio Updates" and of coarse the latest and greatest pictures.

Becoming a Professional

Well with my first portfolio review in 1 week I am starting to believe I have what it takes to make it in this business.
I spent what seemed like an entire night making up product and price sheets along with what services I offer and what you need to know to ensure you have the best photo shoot. I am so grateful for all of the compliments I have been getting and all of the people that have been allowing me to capture their memories. As my portfolio review approaches I now have too look back on what I have done for the past 4 months and I can already see from the day I bought my camera to today I have already gotten stronger. I can't imagine what more experience will do for me!
Here are a few of my favorite memories.

The Lowney Family

Meet the Lowney Family
These 10 year old triplets were way over due for their pictures to be taken!
At first the shoot was a little slow, but after a pillow fight they loosened up a little!
Mitchell, Grace, and Serra were the perfect kids for me to practice with!
You would never guess they were all born under 3lbs!
I also got to shoot their family pictures and even though it was a little difficult a good smile from everyone I was able to get a few!
I took over 300 pictures of this family and really enjoyed shooting them!

Lillyana sneak peak!

I did a photo shoot today with the lovely Lillyana.
Lilly turned 3 in October and that means it is time for some updated pictures.
We went to the park for this shoot and she was very happy to get to play!
My favorite part about this shoot was whenever I took a picture she would stop and say CHEESE!
You can tell someone has her trained very well.
Hopefully this will be the first of many photo shoots with this family!

Enjoy the Sneak Peak

Photo Shoot

Today I had a Photo shoot for a photography assignment. We have to do a presentation on whatever we want, so I decided portraits would be easy enough. Thankfully I had some very helpful participants that were willing to model for me.
We started off in my backyard then drove to a park, and finished off downtown. It was a lovely 32 degrees and we were freezing. We were also approached by a cop downtown because the cop thought we were lost or looking for a bus stop. Apparently 4 young girls should not be downtown alone!

Here is a little peak at the shoot!

Lexie Rose

Lexie Rose is a beautiful 2 year old I had to opportunity to photograph! For the past 2 years I have watched her grow into quite the little character. Her photo shoot was at the park and she was so excited to go play. Occasionally striking a pose for me in between jungle gyms.

Amanda's a Senior

My sister is finally a senior and at a perfect time. As I kick of my career I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing my little sister's senior pictures!
She is a great model and even though one of our photo shoots put me into the emergency room 3 times because some fields whether we like it or not have poisonous plants.
I now photograph in boots everywhere I go!
Here is a little sample of the pictures I have taken of Mana over the past few months.
