L Family

I always love working with this family. They always make my life so easy! It also helps that they photograph beautifully! It is families like this that make me love my job!
I met them at their home in Grand Blanc where we were able to take advantage of the beautiful golf course and their great landscaping!

Thank you again Matt and Emily for allowing me to capture another special moment!

Maternity {Sneak Peak}

Yesterday I had the opportunity of photographing Baby E's mom for a maternity shoot! We braved the windy day and went outside to take pictures. E wanted to play in the leaves and the newly walking 1 year old was so excited to be outside. So while she was off playing Clare and I had a chance to take some photos of her alone. After looking through the pictures Amanda and I realized that she does not by any means look 8 months pregnant! She looks wonderful and the wind did wonders for her hair! I cannot wait until this little girl joins the world! Baby E won't be the baby anymore, but she is sure going to be a great big sister!

Riley Mae is back!

Riley Mae was back in the studio yesterday! I love having her here.. it is amazing to look back at the different photos I have taken of her over the past year or so. It is crazy how big and old she looks now. Of coarse the first thing I did when I loaded her pictures was compare the first shoot to yesterday's shoot! Check out her other blogs to see for yourself!

Behind the Lens

Sometime when you are looking for a photographer random questions cross your mind. I know this because these question cross everyones mind (even my own), or they are questions I have been asked!
Who is it I am hiring? What do they look like? How old is she (a question you all ask me!) Are they outgoing? Are they down to earth? Things you wonder about me, that my photos can't exactly tell you!
I am always open to telling you about myself so today I am making this blog about my sister and I!
We finally had a chance to get outside and have some fun with the camera! The first random shoot of the season and hopefully many more to come! We are super outgoing and at one point I think I even made the comment that we were strange individuals because normal people don't dance around outside in front of the camera, but to us that is normal! After using 2 rolls of film on me (being in front of the camera and Amanda behind it) we decided that we should get the digital camera out and shoot for fun (although I think I laughed through 1 entire roll of her film)
If you don't already know Amanda from previous photos of her, from meeting her at your session, or just because she's a pretty cool individual you should know that she has been and will be helping me out more as she is going to go into graphic design! (so exciting for us) Those of you that know us know that we are almost inseparable and best friends so we are excited to see what this journey of hers is going to do for Chelsea Dale Photography! She's pretty cool and better at being in front of the camera than I am!

 Okay so enough of my random thoughts for you I will share my photos so I can go enjoy this beautiful weather we are having!

Last shoot of the year!

Meet Ellen and Haley!
I went to high school with Ellen and my sister graduated with Haley. This photo shoot has been much anticipated as Haley goes to school out of state we knew we wanted to do something while she was home on break. I am really glad we were able to work something out! I had so much fun with these two. Between shots we were catching up and talking about the past & present, it is always nice for me to be able to photograph friends! They were so easy going and so fun to work with. I have so many favorites from this shoot I couldn't even pick which ones I wanted to post, so I am going to have to consider this a sneak peak because there are just so many more to look through! Even though they kept saying they weren't photogenic I think they are beautiful.
It has been a wonderful year and I am so glad I got to finish it off with these two!
Thank you everyone that had faith in me this year, thank you to all of my clients, friends and family for all of your support. I am looking forward to 2012 and all of the new challenges, clients, and people I will meet along the way!

Family {G}

Here is a sneak peak from my session in Midland! It was such an awesome time, the family was wonderful! I met them in Midland at their families property were we did our photo shoot. Let me just say the property was breath taking. I went early to look around and everywhere I looked there was something fun to look at! I haven't even been through all of the photos yet, there are just so many, but I wanted to post some for you to see!
I could ramble on about how wonderful this family was, all of the cool stories they told me, and tell you about all of the cool things I saw, but I think you are more interested in the photos so here is a sneak peak for you!
